It's tough when someone you care about needs treatment for cancer.
About Cancer Care Box
When someone you love is going through chemotherapy or radiation treatment, finding the right way to show your support through a gift can feel overwhelming. Flowers might not quite feel appropriate and your special person has enough on their plate dealing with treatment without having to figure out what they can or can't use.
We understand the cancer journey intimately – not just as a business, but as people who have walked similar paths.
We created Cancer Care Box with one simple mission: to help you provide meaningful comfort to someone special in your life who's undergoing chemotherapy or radiation and not make it awkward. Each box we curate is filled with carefully selected, Australian and New Zealand made 'as natural as possible' products that offer genuine comfort and practical support during treatment. We've done the research, so you don't have to worry about whether the items are appropriate or safe – we've taken care of that for you.
Our selection process is guided by real experiences and an understanding of what truly helps during chemotherapy. Every item in our care boxes has been thoughtfully chosen to provide comfort, relief, and a moment of peace during challenging times.
We believe in the power of practical support combined with genuine care. While we can't take away the challenges of treatment, we can help you show your person that they're not alone on this journey.
And who are we? We are Becca and Jem. Besties from a long time ago and on the other side of the planet to where we are now! Not only have we been through the chemo experience (along with rather a lot of our friends and family) but we've also been the ones to send gifts out to show our care and love for others when it's been them as well.
So we've tried lots of products and clearly the list of chemo side effects can be extensive, but dry skin and lips are pretty universal, so we're looking to help most with that, as well as some teas for the quiet times.
Whilst treatments improve every day, most doctors will say that attitude is a super important aspect of how people cope with treatment - and when you know you have people supporting you - it makes a world of difference. If we can help you show your support for your loved one, then it will be our privilege to do so.
Becca & Jem.
